The rider/driver must be 20 years old or older to rent a vehicle. If the rider/driver is under the stipulated age, his or her order will be canceled without any refund.
The following documents will be verified, in original, for each rider/driver:
Passport, Election Card, or Aadhaar Card*
*Additional documents may be required based on the location. Please read the vendor Terms and Conditions while booking.
The security deposit mentioned in the Vendor Terms and Conditions must be paid in cash at the pickup location to the vendor. Sukuto does not accept online payments of the security deposit.
Vehicle bookings are subject to availability. Sukuto reserves the right to cancel any booking if deemed necessary.
Riders/drivers should respect and follow traffic rules and regulations at all times. All challans issued due to rider/driver negligence need to be paid in full to the penalizing authority or legal action can be taken against the rider/driver.
The rider/driver is not authorized to lend the vehicle to anybody else without first informing Sukuto. In such cases, Sukuto will verify the documents of the new rider/driver before starting the trip.
The rider/driver is authorized to inspect and test drive the vehicle before renting it. After the rider/driver declares that the vehicle meets their requirements, no claim will be accepted against any physical or mechanical damage to the vehicle later. All the damage-related expenses must be borne by the rider/driver with genuine spares. The rider/driver can take a photograph of the vehicle for security purposes.
The vehicle must be returned on the specified date and time as mentioned in the booking/invoice copy. A delay without intimating the vendor/Sukuto will warrant a penalty as per the Partner's Terms and Conditions.
If a rider/driver feels that they will not be able to return the vehicle on the specified date and time, then, they should call Sukuto User Care/vendor and ask for a trip extension. Extensions are subject to availability.
A trip extension request must be made at least 4 hours before the drop-off time. Such requests are to be made to Sukuto User Care over the phone or through our website. The request will be confirmed or denied based on the availability of vehicles. In case the rider/driver doesn’t drop the vehicle in spite of a denied extension request, the penalty charges will be applicable.
The charges for a trip extension are the standard rates.
After a booking is confirmed, the pickup date, time, and location cannot be changed.
The rider/driver must drop the vehicle at the same location from where it was picked up. We do not accommodate requests for a change in the drop location.
The vehicle must be returned on the specified date and time as mentioned on the booking/invoice copy. A delay without intimating the vendor/Sukuto will attract a penalty as per vendor TnC.
In case of damage to the helmet, the rider is liable to pay the fine as specified by the vendor.
In case of damage to the vehicle on the rent due to accident/mishandling/carelessness, appropriate charges will be calculated by the vendor and the rider/driver is liable to pay the same to the vendor along with the daily tariff until the vehicle is ready for renting again.
Despite any provisions of law to the contrary, the user agrees and acknowledges that in case of theft, the User is liable to pay, in full, the market rate of the vehicle.
In the case of engine failure or any other fault, the rider/driver must contact the vendor before getting any repairs done. The original printed invoice is mandatory to claim reimbursement for the same.
Sukuto expects its users to ensure the following to help avoid safety issues:
The user must ensure that all passengers wear safety belts or helmets.
The number of passengers must not exceed the seating capacity of the vehicle. Sukuto reserves the right to fine or blocks a user due to non-compliance.
Sukuto is not responsible for any accident and/or injury caused to the rider/driver and/or any of the passengers due to personal negligence or negligence of the rider/driver.
Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Sukuto will not be responsible for paying compensation for any mishaps and their consequences in such cases. The rider/driver will be liable to pay the vendor for all the damages.
You can cancel your trip:
- 0-24 hours before the trip starts: The entire amount paid by the rider/driver will be charged as the cancellation fee. There will be NO REFUND made for such cancellations.
More than 24 hours before the trip starts: 20% of the amount paid by the rider/driver will be deducted as the cancellation fee and the remaining 80% of the amount will be refunded to the source account.
No show(More than 4 Hrs after the trip starts time without any information to Partner or Sukuto): The entire amount paid by the rider/driver will be charged as the cancellation fee. There will be NO REFUND made for such cancellations.
If Sukuto cancels any booking due to non-availability, a full refund will be initiated. The refunded amount will be reflected in the rider/driver's bank account within 7-10 business days.
Sukuto has complete authority to cancel the booking without prior notice.
No refund/reimbursement/cancellation claim will be considered after 48 hours of the completion of the booking period.
- Cancellation due to document issue:
- The rider/driver is not willing to submit the document as per the terms and conditions.
- The rider/driver is not able to verify his/her identity.
- The rider/driver documents are not valid.
For Siliguri, Leh-Ladakh, and Tawang: No refunds will be made if the booking is canceled 3 days before the pickup.
