CANCELING A RESERVATION

Do I get a full refund if I cancel?
A:

When you book a bike with any of our partners, they reserve it and keep it booked just for you. Upon cancellation from your end causes unnecessary inconvenience to the Dealer and a potential financial loss

This is why if the Rider cancels their booking before 24 hours of the Bike pick up time, they are refunded 80% of the amount paid. However, if the cancellation is done on the same day of the Bike pick up time (i.e. within 24 hours of the pick up time), they are not refunded any amount.

Can I change the date of an existing reservation I made?
A:

The date of an existing reservation is not subject to change because the bikes have already been booked and kept reserved for you by our partners. You may cancel your current booking and then book a bike for a later date, however a cancellation fee will apply.

We at Sukuto make sure that your money is returned to you at the soonest possible moment. With any and all kinds of transactions, it takes up to 7 to 10 days to refund your amount after initiating the cancellation. This also depends upon your payment procedure (PAYTM OR BANK).

What is the process to cancel my booking?

We would never want our customers to run into any kind of trouble while they are having fun with their trip and this is why chances are very rare that the Dealer would cancel your reservation. However, if it does happen due to an emergency, the customer is refunded 100% of the amount paid for the booking.

I can’t find my reservation?
A:

Finding and checking your reservations and their status is pretty easy. Follow these steps below.

  • Open the Sukuto app.
  • Click on my bookings and there you will find all your reservations that were made.

Q:
How do I contact a Dealer before booking a reservation?
A:

The Rider cannot contact the Dealer before booking a bike. After the Rider’s booking is confirmed with that particular Dealer, Sukuto will send you a message with all the details of the Dealer like mobile number, location, etc.

Q:
What happens when payment is successful but the booking is not confirmed?
A:

As we would never want any inconvenience towards our Riders, this rarely happens. And even if it does happen, we make sure that your money is refunded back to you as quickly as possible. If the refund has not been initiated, you may contact us and we will see to it immediately.

I can’t get in touch with my Dealer?
A:

If you are unable to get in touch with the Dealer after booking a reservation, you can call us and we will see to it that the problem is resolved as soon as possible.

Q:
What if a Dealer informs me that the listing I already paid for is now unavailable but they have an alternative?
A:

Usually we would never want our Riders to face any issue regarding bikes on their trip. But some cases do arrive when there is an emergency from the Dealer side and the bike cannot be provided by the Dealer for that particular date even after it has been booked. In such cases, we try our best to provide another bike of equal value to our customer. If this also isn’t possible the customer is refunded the full amount that they have paid for the booking.

Q:
What should I do if something`s missing or not as expected when I go for picking up the bike?
A:

You can talk to the Dealer and try to sort the issue out with the Dealer himself. If that doesn’t work out, feel free to give us a call and raise an issue and we will see that it is resolved immediately.

We treat accidents and injuries during bike rides very seriously. If you are in such a situation, you should first try to get any help that you can and then call the vendor immediately to inform him of the mishap. We advise that you inform us also of the incident as soon as possible.

What should I do if my Dealer needs to cancel?
A:

  • Press on details and it will take you to the details page where you can freely add or edit the Rider details.

Can I extend my trip?
A:

Yes you can easily extend your bike trip through the Sukuto app. Just follow these quick steps to do so.

  • Open the Sukuto app and press on ‘My Bookings’.
  • In the ‘My Bookings’ section you will find the ‘Extend’ button. Click on it and select the date till which you would want to extend your trip. If the bike is available up until that particular date, you will be able to successfully extend you trip!

Can I extend my trip after it ends?
A:

Extension of trips is always good news for us! However, if you need to extend your bike trip, it must be done before you end your trip and not after as we do not allow extension once you have ended your trip.

Q:
Is fuel included in tariff?
A:

In some of our locations, our partners do provide fuel inclusive bikes. As each Dealer has their own set of terms and conditions, they may or may not include fuel in the tariff.

Can I ride for unlimited kilometres?
A:

In some of our locations, our partners do provide bikes with unlimited kilometers. As each Dealer has their own set of terms and conditions, they may or may not include unlimited kilometers for their bikes.

Q:
What if I return the bike late?
A:

Returning the bike late and past your due date is frowned upon as it not only causes an inconvenience to our partners but also to other Riders that have booked the bike for a particular date and time. You may call the Dealer for an extension before you end your trip if you think you are going to be late, however if you do drop the bike off way past your time, a penalty will charged.

Q:
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A:

Yes in most cases. As each Dealer has his/her own set of terms and conditions, they may or may not ask for a deposit for their bikes. It is completely up to the Dealer you are renting the bike from.

Q:
What is the minimum age for riding a bike?
A:

As each Dealer has his/her own set of terms and conditions, the minimum age for renting and riding a bike will depend upon the Dealer and/or the bike you will be renting.

Q:
What happens if I am unable to show the documents required to rent the bike?
A:

Having your valid documents are an important part of renting your favorite bikes. If you are unable to show your documents, your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be granted. So do make sure you are able to show up with your documents before booking a bike!

Is there any speed limit on the bike?
A:

It is best to travel at a safe and comfortable speed. The speed limit is determined by the State you are in as different States have different traffic laws. It also depends upon the Dealer and the particular bike you will be renting.

From where should I pick up the bike?
A:

After you are done booking a bike that you like for a certain date, a ‘Confirmation Message will be sent to your phone number with all the details you will require in order to pick up the bike. In case you haven’t received a confirmation message, you could wait a bit as network problems do occur. You can also give us a call and we will solve the issue immediately.

Once you have chosen the bike that you need for your road-trip, you will be required to make the payment online. After your payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation message on your phone number with all the details required in order to pick up the bike. This message signifies that your order is confirmed.

Currently it isn’t possible to pay with any other currency except for the Indian Rupee. However, it is being implemented into our system and very soon we will start accepting other International currencies.

My payment is not going through. What should I do?
A:

Sometimes there are network inconsistencies that do occur while paying for a transaction. If your payment is not going through you may try again with a gap of five minutes in between. If nothing works, you can contact our customer support and we will see to it that the problem is fixed immediately.

Your Spincoin balance can only be used when you are booking your bike as a form of payment. However, you are only allowed to use 10% of your total booking amount as Coins and the rest will have to be paid through cash or card.

I have referred a friend but not received Coins, how can I resolve that?

In case of a tyre puncture, find the nearest bike mechanic and get the puncture fixed. As puncture of tyres are unpredictable and depend upon various other factors like terrain, style of riding, etc. it does not qualify as a responsibility of the Dealer.
