Two things decide the vehicle in an Indian city: the traffic, and how many people are travelling. A scooty filters through the first; a car earns its place the moment there are four people and luggage to fit.

Where can you rent bikes and scooty?

Two-wheelers can be booked in 44 cities, from 3,983 vehicles listed at a price across 130 models, starting at ₹299 a day. Automatic scooty models cover office runs, shopping and airport drops; geared bikes are what people take when the ride leaves the city. Bike rental in Bangalore and bike rental in Chennai each list stock at several partner points rather than one depot. One helmet comes with every two-wheeler; if someone is riding pillion, ask the partner at pickup whether a second one is available.

Where can you book a self-drive car?

Self-drive cars are bookable in 8 cities, with 179 cars listed at a price across 34 models, from ₹1,176 a day. There is no driver option — you hold the keys, and the minimum age is 21 with a full car licence. A car suits an airport run with family, a week of rain, a wedding in another town, or an outstation drive within the vehicle's free-km terms. Pickup and drop-off are at the same partner location, so plan a round trip rather than a one-way move. Permits, e-passes and tolls on the route are yours to pay.

What does a day cost?

All prices include applicable GST; nothing is added at checkout. A security deposit, where a partner takes one, is separate and refundable. Billing is per day, so anything up to 24 hours costs the one-day price. Every vehicle carries a fixed free-km allowance shown on its page, and beyond it the listed per-km rate is charged at drop-off. Rates on the bike rental website are the partner's own: not negotiable, and there are no discount codes.

How does booking work on the bike rental app?

Search your city and dates, compare the vehicles listed for those days, then pay the booking amount online — nothing is held before that payment. Confirmation reaches you on WhatsApp, email and SMS at once, and the exact pickup address with a map link follows after payment. Collection is self-pickup from the partner's pickup point; paid doorstep delivery exists in 1 city and is the exception, not the norm. If plans stretch, a booking can be extended before drop-off, with the extra days charged at the rate for that duration.

What documents and age do you need?

Minimum age is 18 for a two-wheeler and 21 for a car, in both cases with a valid full driving licence for that vehicle class; a learner's licence is not accepted. Foreign visitors need their home-country licence plus an International Driving Permit. What you hand over is set per vehicle by the partner and shown on the vehicle page before you book: either the original licence is left for the rental, where a digital copy will not do, or the licence only has to be shown, in which case DigiLocker or mParivahan is fine. No local address proof is asked for. A deposit, where taken, is collected at pickup and returned normally within 24 to 48 hours after the vehicle is checked.

Can you rent by the month?

Monthly rentals are listed in 20 cities, for people who need a vehicle for weeks rather than days — a new posting, a stretch of site work, or delivery and gig riding, which is allowed within the km terms. Longer bookings are charged at the rate for that duration rather than a day rate multiplied out, and fuel stays on the rider throughout. What happens if you return late or cancel?

There is 45 minutes of grace after the drop-off time; past that, a full extra day is charged at the daily rate. A fully paid booking cancelled 24 hours or more before pickup is refunded 80%, and nothing is refunded after that point, while a part-paid booking is not refunded on cancellation. If the vehicle is not provided, or you refuse it at pickup for its condition, the refund is in full, and approved refunds reflect in 3-4 working days.
